Named 'Chompski' by me after Noam Chomski, the P in her name is because she chomps birds, mice etc.

Chompski is very playful, very affectionate, never scratches anyone and likes to mooch a lot. Chompski is a Manx who has no tail at all.

Our darling little Chompski died today. We were with her when she died and we are all heartbroken.

Named 'Malfoy' (by Tasha) after Malfoy in Harry Potter

Malfoy died in September, 2006 as a result of an accident, he was 2 years old. He was a lovely cat, loved to playfully bite our hands and when I used to walk past him he would reach out his paws and grab me to make me stop and pat him. Malfoy was just a beautiful moggy, a homeless moggy we rescued. We all miss him very much.

Named 'Selphie' by Shiloh after his first girlfriend Melissa.

Selphie is very affectionate, extremely so. She is also very jealous and will swipe at the other cats if she is by me and they try to come up for a pat. She thinks she owns me and often hides her nose under my arm and sleeps with her head on my chest or shoulder. She is a total sap, but we adore her. Selphie is a Manx who has a nub for a tail about an inch long.

Named 'Raven' by me after the Edgar Allen Poe poem by the same name

Raven is a very shy cat and will not let strangers approach her. At night she will crawl on top of me and start padding and purring, otherwise she really does not have much to do with the humans who live in her house. Raven is a long tailed Manx.

Named 'Ogster' by Shiloh and I, which was a combination of the names of the two other kittens from her litter who died, they were Oggie and Dexter.

Ogster is a scream! She has the most expressive face and you can almost tell what she thinking by just looking at her. She is a bit unpredictable, she will turn over to let you pat her tummy and then she will hit you real hard with her paw, but never uses her claws. She also lays in the weirdest positions for a cat and often looks like she has been splattered, as you can see from some of the pics. Ogster takes a run at the door and thumps it with her head to let you know she wants to come in, and she won't stop until the door is opened. She's a little darlin and we love her to pieces! She is a Manx and has no tail at all.

Born 11/9/2001, September 11th, 2001, what else could we name him, thus he became 'Manhattan'.

Manhattan is a grumpy poop who has absolutely no redeeming features or personality traits. He is mean, nasty and totally unpredictable. One time he ripped open my eyelid, stuck his claw through the bottom of my eyelid and cut my nose...all because I rolled on him in my sleep. I looked like I had been beaten up by an axe wielding murderer! My face was bruised and swollen. He will invite you to pat him, purr and then without any provocation nor warning he will scratch you, real badly, he has long sharp claws and huge teeth. Despite his nasty disposition and lack of redeeming features, we love him and we keep him because no one else will have him. Gee, I wonder why THAT is. He is a long tailed Manx, son of Ogster.

Named 'Donimo' by Shiloh after some comic book person/character. She is his cat.

Domino is the matriarch of the cat family. She is a nice cat, but doesn't take any nonsense from the other cats. She can turn on the bathroom tap by herself, but she has not yet mastered the art of turning it off again. She is a Manx who has a half inch nub for a tail.

...oh yeah, did I forget to mention that Matisse is a girl?

Monty is as laid back as 'laid back' can get. He is gentle, affectionate and purrs every time he sees me. He likes to play with my long plait, I think he thinks it is a tail. I first saw Monty the night he was born, but never intended that I would end up with him. When he was three weeks old he hissed at me, and when I first brought him home he even hissed at his own reflection in the drinking water. Now, however, he does not hiss at anything or anyone.

Monty is so laid back that youcan position him for a photo and he will stay like it until you are done.

Matisse has decided that she is Monty's mum. She washes him and even attempts to feed him. It is the strangest thing I have ever seen. I will be posting a video here of it soon, because if I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not believe it either.
