Ever heard of a man by the name of Rinehard/Reinhard/Rienhard Bonnke? (I have found three diff spellings of his name and have yet been unable to work out which one is correct) I hadn't heard of him, but now that I have, a lot of Rodney Howard-Browne makes scary sense. (remember, the following occured pretty much near the begining of the RHB rise to fame in the USA) but we are going back to the start to try to see what went on. For those of you already familiar with this, forgive those of us still playing ctach-up.
Rinehard Bonnke is the man who accurately predicted the arrival of of the Lord Maitreya in Nairobi, Kenya several years ago and Rinehard supported this man and he called Lord Maitreya 'the Christ'. Apparently Rodney Howard Browne was not wanted a the Rhema school until this man, Rinehard Bonnke lay hands on him and prayed for him...and more likely than not, filled him with familiar spirits and other such loogieish things of that ilk. This would WELL explain the holy laughter and other bits and bobs that go into making up the RHB carni-sideshow. Remember Kundalini?
On 11 June 11 1988, a man suddenly appeared before a vast crowd in Nairobi, Kenya, gathered to witness the miracle healings of Kenyan spiritual healer, Mary Akatsa. (The man showed up in their midst seemingly from thin air and he disappeared in pretty much the same fashion). The crowds, (lulled by Mary Akatsa who proclaimed him to be the Christ too,) instantly recognized the tall, white-robed figure as "Jesus Christ", and the crowds fell down overcome with emotion. The editor of the Swahili edition of the Kenya Times, Job Mutungi, witnessed the event and wrote an article. While present among the people there, Maitreya performed many miraculous healings, witnessed by hundreds. Yet they should have remembered several things here before they got all caught up in this strange occurence.
Jesus was born, died, rose from the dead and then ascended to Heaven and it was always said that he would return a second time, BUT there were specific things told about what would happen upon his return, (and keep in mind the biblical warning of false christs found in Matt amongst other places in the bible)
Matt 24:21-24 " For then will be a great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened. Then if anyone says to you, "look, here is the Christ or There do not believe it." For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Matt 24:37 "As it was in the days of Noah so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man...
1Thess 5:16 "For the Lord himself will come down from Heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God and the dead in Christ will rise first."
Okay, first things first, what happened in the days of Noah when Noah and his family were saved through the building of the Ark? Well they were saved and everyone else was destroyed by water, every living thing not in the Ark at the time of the flood was wiped away as though it had never been. Hmm, doesn't really add up with the picture you get of Nairobi and Maitreya does it?
Secondly, I believe there was no loud command with the voice of the archangel, no trumpet and no dead in Christ were raised to meet him in the sky. 1 Thess 5.16 didn't say there MIGHT be a loud command, a trumpet and the dead might rise to meet HIm in the sky, these things were given as FACTS! There was no MIGHT about it...
...These simple obvious facts alone show clearly that Maitreya was not Jesus Christ and I would go further to saying that he was probably a demon manifestation. The bible shows clearly that many false prophets will come to the forefront and perform signs and wonders and fool even the elect of Christ.
So how could someone as theologically educated as Rodney Howard-Browne is supposedly, be careless enough to let someone like Rinehard Bonnke lay hands on him to fill him with the holy spirit whilst being fully aware that the same man had been fooled by a demon manifestation and called that manifestation Christ? Darkness and light do not mix, it is one or it is another. I think it has been clearly established where RHB's power comes from and it is not God, so why are these other people supporting him and calling bad good?
People like Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Lyn and Les Denton (Hands of Hope,NZ) some of the AOG movement both here in NZ and USA? The more I look at this deception the more I am horrified by just how many people are caught up in it. The names down below are just some of the names that keep coming up whenever I read any of this stuff or look further afield at the strangest of things to do with this Rinehard Bonnke & Rodney Howard-Browne things. Keeping in mind that anyone who partakes of Rodney Howard-Browne's version of the gospel is exposing themselves to Rinehard Bonnke's contact with Maitreya in Nairobi.Maitreya was obviously a demon manifestation and it is from Rinehard Bonnke that his 'holy laughter' gig was imparted.

So as you can see the plot just continues to get thicker and darker and more dangerous, do none of the above get it? We all know that there are many names missing from this list, people we know and love are caught up in something so deadly that I feel scared for them, I really do.
Here is more from the sadness of Rinehard Bonnke:
"In August of 2003 a report was aired on the 700 Club about a man named Daniel who came back to life during a Rinehard Bonnke meeting in Africa. The man had been dead for 3 days, and came back to life. While he was dead he visited both heaven and hell. Daniel spoke in broken English, and here is what he had to say: I am not intending to go into what the man says he saw, rather I am about to become contentious about the claim that this man being brought back to life has anything to do with God. You see, God gave us VERY CLEAR instructions on the state of the dead, and this is what HE said...
Ec 9.5-6 "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, they have no further reward and even the memory of them is forgotten. Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished, never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun."
Okay that is pretty clear, so even if the dude was dead for three days, the above was the state that he was in. It does not say in Ecclesiastes that the dead might go on a little trip to heaven or a little trip to hell, it clearly states that they KNOW NOTHING! WHat is said of the dead later on in ...

Okay now by that measure obviously those who are not dead in Christ are going to stay in the ground where they are at this point. So between the point of death and Christ's return the dead are as is said in Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 up until what is going to happen spoken of in 1 Thess 5:16, in between those two states, there is NOTHING! ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD there is NOTHING! So how could a man in a dead state contradict the word of God and go to Heaven and then Hellfor a looksey around and then come back to tell us all about it? I am not disputing the claim that this man was raised from the dead, I am sure he was, the eye witness accounts alone cannot be argued with, what I AM claiming is that it had NOTHING to do with God.
NB I read the two books called A Divine Revelation of Heaven and A Divine Revelation of Hell and as much as they were interesting reading, I do not for ONE SECOND believe that they are writing of real McCoy experiences of these places. I believe they either made them up OR were influenced by demonic spirits in their altered state of consciousness. (Mary K Baxter's books were filled with claims that contradict the word of God [The Apostle Paul instructed Timothy: “Teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables” (1 Timothy 1:3-4)] and should be seen for what they are, at best delusions, at worst, lies) see http://www.pfo.org/heavenly.htm decide for yourself, but keep in mind 1Tim 1:3-4.
Another thing too is that this whole deal with the man Daniel waking up from the dead having had these relevlations as such, tries to spin the line that God changed His mind about what He said in his word. Remember the story of the rich man in hell wanting someone to send a warning to his family so that they too did not end up in hell? What was said to him? A resounding NO! Yet this Daniel guy is trying to sell us on the idea that God suddenly changed his mind many years later, read the following:
"So while I was shouting and asking the angel for help, he said that I had another chance to go back. He mentioned this, that the request of the rich man in Hell had been granted to this generation. I did not understand it. It was now that I woke up [from being dead] and read the Bible, I realized that the request was-- what the rich man was requesting; that a dead man should be sent back to the world. So he just said that the request of the rich man had been granted to this generation for the last warning."
How arrogant to expect us to believe that God would change HIS mind? That would make God unreliable and untrustworthy if we cannot even trust what he has said in HIS WORD! We all know that God just ain't like that.
Ps It appears that there have been many people dying at Reinhard Bonnke’s crusade not once but numerous times. Not one person was raised from the dead. These are only a few incidents cited.
Anxious relatives still besieged hospitals in Benin city, mid-western Nigeria Thursday for enquiries in the aftermath of Tuesday night's religious crusade in which police have confirmed at least 14 people dead. Reports reaching Lagos said most of the dead and injured worshippers, mainly women and children, were taken to the central hospital, where the staff are having difficulties in coping with desperate visitors.
About 500,000 people were said to have crammed themselves in a school compound where visiting German preacher, Reinhard Bonnke flagged off his weeklong "great gospel campaign".
A well-hyped Reinhard Bonnke crusade in Edo State turns sour as it resulted in a harvest of at least 16 deaths. Now, both the organisers and the bereaved are poised for a titanic legal battle."
"In Kano, in 1990, and only two weeks ago in Benin, Bonnke's crusades were attended by gnashing teeth and tearful eyes. Actually, both crusades left in their trail a tragedy of multiple deaths." "At the end of the squeezing, pushing and shoving, 14 persons were confirmed dead. 50 persons mainly children, were also declared missing. While the stampede lasted, terror reigned supreme as hoodlums vent their unbridled lust on defenceless damsels whom they mercilessly raped."
"… the family of the late Josephine Efememise, a 36-year-old mother of two is asking for monetary award. Last week, Mr. Theophilus Osagiede, brother to Efememise, headed for the Benin High Court to slam a N60 million suit on Bonnke and seven of the crusade organisers for the death of his sister. Mr. S.O. Omare is his lawyer."
As the millennium crusade of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke entered its second day in Abeokuta Thursday, no fewer than three elderly persons were feared dead during a stampede. The three victims all male and in their late 60s were apparently trampled upon by the large crowd of other able bodied persons who were present for the miracle crusade.
" in addition to miracles which are witnessed at his crusades, there have been harvests of deaths and injuries. But many Nigerians blame those who always invite him for their failure to provide adequate logistics." "were trampled to death by the already charged crowd. Investigation revealed that over 100,000 worshippers thronged the stadium meant for about 35,000.’ For instance, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium venue in Abeokuta, over100,000 were crammed into the 35,000 capacity crowd stadium. The same thing happened in Benin, Lagos, Ibadan and Port Harcourt which attracted about 600,000 people.
Bonnke didn’t raise these people when they were killed at his crusades but we are to believe A DEAD MAN GETS RAISED WHEN HE IS BROUGHT TO HIM AND DOESN’T KNOW HE’S THERE! Rodney/Reinhard, well they both start with R
